Michael Stevens home town is Portland, Oregon but he now resides in Glendale, Arizona with his wife Jennifer and their twelve year old son Micah. Michael’s love of nature and gardening was instilled in him from a very young age by his grandmother Ellen Hensley, for whom he has based the ELLEN MELON book upon. 

Michael spent countless weekends throughout his youth and adult life on his grandmother's 20-acre farm in Yamhill, Oregon.

Michael is pleased to share his grandmother's love of gardening and nature with children all over the world.
